WORKING WASHINGTON GRANT ROUND 5 FEEDBACK REQUESTED - Comments Extended March 16

In preparation for the next round of Working Washington grants (Round 5), Commerce has released a Request for Public comment (RPC) to seek feedback from stakeholders who represent our small businesses across the state. Please fill out this form, save it, and electronically submit via email to bizgrants@commerce.wa.gov by March 16, 2022.


PILLAR GRANT OPPORTUNITY FOR RAINIER VALLEY AREA OF SEATTLE - DUE APRIL 1

You are eligible for a grant from Pillar if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are a small business with between $50,000 and $5M in annual revenue and have limited access to financing alternatives

  • You are an independently-owned establishment such as a restaurant, retailer, nail salon, or barber shop; a sole proprietor; or a family-run establishment

  • You are located in or around Rainier Valley, Seattle

  • Note that Pillar prioritizes businesses owned by women and people of color.

TAX SEASON IS HERE!

The filing deadline to submit 2021 tax returns or an extension to file and pay tax owed is Monday, April 18, 2022, for most taxpayers. As new grants and programs start to become available, it is important to have businesses ready to apply for these grants and programs by having their tax documents completed and ready for reference or to submit with their applications.
